Milica is a Psychologist and a Clinical Psychology Registrar. She has completed a Master in Clinical Psychology, as well as advanced training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy with internationally acclaimed trainers. Milica uses evidence-based therapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Schema Therapy, and mindfulness, with an empathetic and client-centred approach. Milica has presented her research on the topics of anxiety and interpersonal problems at international psychology conferences. She is a SIRA approved provider.
Milica has a warm, empathetic and non-judgemental approach in her therapy. Milica has experience in treating adults and adolescents in both public and private practice settings.
She has worked with individuals, and their families, who are facing problems with depression, anxiety, trauma, phobias, eating disorders, as well as relationship problems, anger, carer stress, adjustment problems, chronic pain, and parenting concerns.
Before training in clinical psychology, Milica had a career in research and teaching in health economics at several Australian universities and has also had experience working in the corporate sector. She has also lived in five countries, which has given her a rich personal experience and has contributed to her broad-minded and non-judgemental approach.
